We are a radically unschooling family living in Southwestern Ontario. We spend our days reading and creating, cooking and baking, gardening and singing, playing games and figuring things out. We spend as much time outside as we can. We also like to take a lot of photographs, to document our lives.
I am deeply inspired by nature and share everyday with my sweet boy the love and respect I have for Mother Earth.
I love all things creative and crafty (although I didn’t say I was good at them), am a voracious reader, knitter and gardener and love cooking and baking everything and anything from scratch.
This space is for me to reflect on the life that we live, the days that we share and everything that goes into that. I hope you’ll join us for this fabulous journey we call life.
Namaste,
Debbie

Hi Sweetie! I wanted to let you know that I had dropped in on your lovely site.
I love it, very peaceful. Seriously.

Take care,
See you soon,

Hi there from Indiana,I came across your blog by searching unschooling and only one child. I adore your blog, your son is a cutie.I like the Christmas rings that you all made,we only use plain red and green but I am thinking that I am going to use scrapbook paper instead.
Blessings
Oh, I didn’t know that you were a yoga instructor too! We have that in common as well!

Hi Debbie,
I love your blog..and everything it represents & values…thanks for bringing to light the 8th fire DVD …more can be found in the CBC series 8th fire (www.cbc.ca/doczone/8thfire/) for anyone interested. I have come to understand Indigenous philosophies as profoundly instructive for us all; as a non-Aboriginal person in Canada I feel privileged to share this land with its original inhabitants, and as a former practising lawyer I feel sad that our laws have harmed our treaty brothers and sisters. Hopefully, 2012 and the future will bring more healing, restoration and connection for all.
Peace to you and all your readers.
Lovely blog. Thank you for sharing.
Greetings from north of the Arctic Circle.
